TREAT YOUR HAIR WITH LUXURY AND CARE AT NOIR

NOIR – Delhi’s most swanky boutique hair salon has opened its doors to the public in the heart of the city, at the luxury shopping mall - The Chanakya.

Hello friends! If you have been following us closely on Instagram and Facebook, you would know that we had a hair makeover a couple of weeks back.so, we were invited to the newly launched Noir Salon at Chanakya mall.

We were shown to our seats and immediately offered something to drink. Senior Stylist was assigned to take care of our hair. Before getting down to business, We had a pretty in-depth discussion with him as to how we should go about achieving.

Hair spa is a great way to rejuvenate dull and lifeless hair.
Good hair care often means hair spas that aim not only at improving hair’s texture but also control hair fall and improve the overall health of your hair.

The steps of the Kerastase hair spa treatment we went through included.

Step 1: Scalp check. They have this gadget which checks your scalp and roots and then they recommend you treatments based on your hair results.

For a minute I felt like I was back in school waiting for my results. And voila I passed with flying colours! My hair scalp and roots are healthy so I didn’t need anything heavy duty. But he did say that my hair tips needed nourishment.

Step 2: Shampoo
He used Kerastase Shampoo on our hair which took out all the oil and deep cleansed my hair.

Step 3: After the shampoo was done it was time for hair conditioning. He used Kerastase hair conditioner. It was kept on for some 5-6 minutes.

Step 4: After the conditioning, it was time for some hair treatment with Kerastase repair deep conditioning.

Step 5: It was time for some steam treatment. My hair was kept secure in the machine for about 12-15minutes.

Step 6: After that, it was time to shampoo again!
My hair was frizzy, dry and in a really bad condition, When I walked into Noir Salon, I knew my hair would be in good hands!

Step 6: After that, I think the Kerastase Nutritive serum was used on my hair from mid to tips. That made them ready for the styling.

This is the whole Kerastase hair spa ritual that took around 2hours.

Our First Travel blog to Jaipur by OYONAUTS.

Hey everyone!
We very recently, took a 3 days trip to Jaipur.

Surely you guys would have come across several of our posts from Jaipur on Instagram.
So here we are sharing the whole of it with you.

Jaipur
 - The pink city, capital of Rajasthan is also the heart of the state. Its mesmerising culture has made it a rather delightful location for tourists and a charming culturally rich setting for all.

DAY 1

We flew to the destination and were warmly welcomed at the airport. The driver, a guy from the locality kept us entertained with facts from the city. OYONAUTS had our stay planned at the OYO Broadway hotel.

Well furnished, comfortable rooms and polite service greeted us at the hotel. We had a hearty lunch comprising of wonderful vegetarian Indian cuisine and to top it off was a wonderful desert

The meal fueled us up, we were ready to explore!

The Bapu Bazaar, our first stop in the city is one of the main markets of Jaipur.

Must buys from the market:
- Silver Jewellery
- Jaipuri Razai
- Antiques - wood/steel artefacts
- Blue pottery
- Juttis

On our way back, we visited the beautiful HAWA MAHAL (palace of breeze). It was essentially built to have a high screen wall for the women of the royal family to observe street festivals while being unseen.

Great dinner and a warm bed for the night, was the perfect end to a much busy day.

DAY 2

The next day, as planned was going to be a long one, hence, bed tea!

A healthy first meal of the day at the buffet breakfast service at the OYO Broadway restaurant area was a kick start to the day. The driver welcomed us at the reception.

It was bright and early, thus exploring the forts, Jaipur had to offer seemed a good start to the day 2. En route to the Amer fort, we came across some beautiful lesser visited places like Jal Mahal for instance. However, thanks to the time constrains we did not stop anywhere. Grand elephants were waiting to take us on a ride at the Amer fort.

AMER FORT

Amer fort located at 11 kms from Jaipur and was the oldest fort of the kachhwaha clan of Amber which used to be the capital, till it was moved to Jaipur. The fort is built with white marble and red sandstone and looks even more attractive because of the Matte lake in the foreground.

Mind you, the elephants take you on a ride only until 11am.

TIP : DO CARRY YOUR STUDENT ID CARDS for low-priced tickets.

We next went to the Nahargarh fort.

The place offers a serene sunset sight and a spectacular view of the entire city.

Later we visited the Chokhi Dhani Village for Dinner.

Chokhi Dhani Village has been the mirror of Rajasthani culture since 1989. Started as part of ambiance for a restaurant over the years it has evolved as a tasteful and authentic symbol of ethnic village life of this most colourful state in the country. Live dance and music performance all through the evening is one of the major attractions at Chokhi Dhani Village.

Entry fee - 700/- per person.

Loads of fun and an overfull tummy later, cosy rooms awaited us.

That's all was our 2nd day.

DAY 3

The last day of our stay at the city, we took breakfast alongside of the pool!

The last day of our stay at the city, we took breakfast alongside of the pool!

After this beautiful refreshing morning we bid a bye to the great comforts of the OYO Broadway hotel and went all the way to City Palace.

City Palace is an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways. The palace museum houses collections of rare manuscript, armoury, costumes, carpet and miniature paintings. Also, you can get an electric car at city palace Rs 150/- per person that will take you around the palace.

Then we walked to the adjacent   Jantar Mantar built by the Maharaja of Jaipur, in 1726 and is one of the five such astronomical wonders. The place built by Sawai Jai Singhis known to make accurate predictions even to this day.

We ordered a Punjabi thali, at a local restaurant for lunch. At just RS 200/- the heavy meal made a good impression

The Jal Mahal was next on our list. Sumita would just not rest the case without getting a camel ride. Meanwhile I practiced my hand at photography in the sunset.

Along the Jal mahal, some road side shops offer good but cheap priced stuff, for all you need to do is Bargain.

That's how we ended our trip to Jaipur.

I being a Sindhi just could not resist the idea of dinning at a Sindhi restaurant. My poor memory is blame for not remembering the name but we were told it being one of the oldest eatery in Jaipur.  Special Rajasthani thalli at 250/- bucks only!

3 days of desi ghee and amazing food served with pure love, is sure to stay afresh in our minds for quite a long time.

With promises visit again, we bid a farewell to the pink city.

A modest mode of transport the Mahalakshmi super delux Volvo bus, made the roads even lovelier.
